Automatic Face Reverser

This tool flips the reverse side to the front side based on the direction in which the view is facing. It can work directly on faces within a group or assembly without entering the group< br />The plug-in has two commands:


1. Model view flip
You can flip any nested group or faces inside a nested group. After clicking the command, the following parameters pop up:

Accuracy - This is the mesh size of the viewport, and the higher the value, the longer the processing time< br />Cameras - This is the number of virtual cameras around the model, which will detect erroneous faces. The default value is 1, using only the current viewpoint. Using four to six cameras obviously takes four to six times the time, but in most cases it produces good results. Please check the status bar to see progress during processing< br />
"Not all models must be placed in the viewport (there is no need to" fill the window "), but only faces visible on the screen are scanned."< br />

2. Frame View Flip
You can flip any nested group or faces inside a nested group. After clicking the command, box select the area with the opposite side (diagonal line of the box selection area to be checked)< br />Note: Please check the status bar to see progress during processing. Scanning large areas may be slow< br />

Other:
1. You cannot scan for hidden layers, hidden solids, or sections< br />2. When a face looks small on the screen, it may not be scanned (due to accuracy). When this happens, you can scale the model and flip it over again< br />3. Some faces do not flip when they belong to a surface.
